Can someone explain why people try to rape others with prices on eco cars? I have been keeping me eye on white 1995 civic si at camp collision on camp rd for a few months. Suddenly my girls car broke down and I decided to check the price on the nice little hatch. I called them today and they want $4,900. Why people??? LoL
Bec. some sellers are leveraging that most people are in a jam, and financing a ~15 year old car is still cheaper than a new/slightly used car.
Because silly Honda kids still get hard for 16 year old econoboxes that came with slightly less ball numbingly slow motors.
The value of used cars is through the roof. Sounds like a smart seller to me. They probably want $4K for it, but will start high to ensure they get there money out of it.

The same dealership had an EK hatch for sale when I was looking to buy. It was a piece of crap and way overpriced. Definitely taking advantage over the Honda/young kid/rice market.

I looked at one years ago there too. Walked away when I saw the poorly repaired Honda rot. So apparently covering old Civics in filler and selling them at a high price is their thing. Some sucker will probably bite though.
