fixed for my lovers.
Bikes= cheaper, more reliable, faster, more fun, and although it can destroy a license. I have never contemplated running from a police for speeding while driving my malibu. I’ll leave it at that.

Rode stuff since i was a young girl… everyday… quads, dirtbikes, gocarts, sleds… just something i have always loved doing… it was just a matter of time before i got a street bike. Just dont be an idiot on one and always pay attention and u should be fine
that is EXACTLY how i feel. everytime i get on my bike, i remind myself that one wrong decision, or putting myself in one dangerous position, could permanently change or end my life. that is one of the main reasons i dont ride in rush hour. also, one of the main reasons i avoid areas with heavy traffic, especially heavy truck traffic.
very well put
HOLD THE BUS. you’re a chick?
shut up you!! U know it.
you are will’s manfriend i met when you rode with him on his bike, right? i srsly thought you were a dood as well…
i guess, so as not to completely derail this topic.
i ride a 2003 cbr600rr. i got into it as a cheaper alternative to cars, and i am now completely hooked.
as u text me to go riding u fag. u hold the bus.
I KNOW he KNOWS it.
ha ha… i have never been on the back of will’s bike… too bad. probably one of the other 12 dudes he gives <3 rides too.
nvrmnd. i thought you were some other dood.
I ride because I don’t want to have a mid-life crisis when Im 55 and regretting that I never had a chance to ride when I was younger.
MPG helps a lot this time btw. But if I get accepted into med school or pharmacy school, goodbye r6. Hello… s2k? g35?
hopefully, your family has a lot of money.
because with the market the way it is, good luck financing med school AND getting a car loan without having a job.
Education loans are a lot easier to get then other types of loans. I would pay cash for the car, like all my other cars.
I was into dirtbikes at a young age then Thinking sportbikes gets you girls is what had me start with them. But now i totally just do it for the thrill and the free state of mind.
I got into when a buddy had an extra bike. I needed a new hobby also. Loved it and Im finally starting to get into it more. Its defanity a great feeling just to go out and ride.
This is such an awful mentality to have, especially for riders with less experience. If you don’t have enough confidence through normal riding, the chances of panic during an emergency situation are 10x more likely. You need to maintain your cool because unfortunately for bike riders, your instinct reactions usually put you in an even worse situation than you were already in.
You’ll learn this at your first track day Sam <3
I think your misinterpreting what I was trying to say. It is not a lack of confidence, but more an awareness of my safety and well being. If I ride with casual disregard…I feel like that will get me into trouble. Plus, having my safety in mind keeps me from acting like a damn hooligan and making poor decisions.
I know what you are saying, but I don’t think having safety on my mind while riding is an awful mentality to have. I think it is the right mentality to have.
I’m really going to try to start riding next summer.
I think Sam was advocating being constantly cautious and aware, and not letting yourself slip into a state of being complacently comfortable.
edit: beat me to it.
exactly.
