Why is faux not reporting about this?

Oh, OK. So past support precludes one from present support. Got it. By your logic I can’t be a Bills fan anymore. (Thank you for that, by the way. Fucking Bills…)

I think you’re missing the point here. Or at least my point.

Tea party goers were “astroturf” and therefore discredited. Why isn’t the same being said about this? Seems the same to me.

Tea party goers were paid by Republican lobbyists and health insurance companies to shout down town halls. These people if anything are giving money to Obama, not being paid.

Well I think that all the people involved (the callers and the teabaggers) believe in what they are doing.

You could argue that one was organized by Fox News for ratings, and the other by Obama for change, but does it really matter?

IMO it does when one side is portrayed as legitimate and one is not.

but good point about both believing in what they’re doing.

You’re right, there probably wasn’t a single person there that was there because of their own will and not a political affiliation :picard:

Yeah, but that’s not happening. The left is saying that this is legit and the teabagging was not. The right is saying that the teabagging was legit and this is not.

So in conclusion, everybody sucks.

As for the phone spam, I read CNN most of the day and didn’t see anything yesterday or today. In fact, the only way I could even find it on google news was put in “whitehouse switchboard health” and that just returned two articles, one from huffington post. Looks like no one considers it news other than the far left.

:highfive:

fox news has a perfect explaination for this.

if you’re for health care reform then you’re gay

if you’re gay then you’re not American

if you’re not American then you don’t get to complain

since nobody complained there is no news to cover here.

If there is no news to cover here, we’ll just get back to opinions.

I haven’t any idea if they covered it. And I bet you (the OP) doesn’t know either. Did you search every thing they publish? You must have a lot of time on your hands. So what either way? It’s good that at least one of the major news networks isn’t sucking Obama dick. Anyway, the so called reform (with the other giveaways coming out of Congress) will bankrupt the country, which is pretty likely regardless. Game over. We have passed the tipping point to where now a majority of Americans see their way to get ahead is to get something more out of the Government rather than by working. The number of productive people will get less and less and the standard of living is going down, maybe way down. We will all be more equal though - equally fucked. Regardless of the party in power, BTW. Unless there is truly a political revolution, which I don’t see happening.

:bigclap:

Well said Rich!

Prove it.

There is proof from the 9/12 march on washington, with tens of thousands of people there. But CNN, MSNBC… didn’t mention hardly a word, and when they did, it was just a few thousand.

Those that live in glass houses…

Huh. Wonder why I haven’t seen this in the headlines on CNN?

If you want to debate which news channel is better, do it in OT.

No one forces you to watch one or the other; you have a choice. Just don’t take for granted the fact that you have that choice to begin with.

Apparently people don’t know how TV ratings work and target demographics work.

I am really starting to hate America, not a move to another country hate. Disappointed that the country is so driven by bs. It makes me wish I was never interested in politics in the first place.

I Wish i lived in the 1600s
