I do it sometimes for riding to work (4 miles) but I do try to wear either my kevlar lined jeans or my overpants on anything more than a 20 minute ride.
I’ll tell you what, in my crash last fall I had on carhart double front pants and they didnt even get a hole in em. those fuckers can stand up on their own theyre so thick :lol
Gears are pointless unless you plan on crashing…:rofl

Wow. I ALWAYS wear jeans when I’m riding. I don’t own anything else to wear riding…
