Will a KA24E MAF work on a CA18DET??

if it does how do i wire it up?

I know it works…couldnt tell ya how to wire it though…ask cheeze on the forum…he will know

KA harness

Black = ground
Black/white = 12volts
white = signal 0-5volts

Ca harness

Black = ground
Black/white =12volts
green/black = signal signal 0-5v
green/yellow no connection

so the Ka Black goes to CA black = ground
KA Black/white goes to CA black/white =(12volts
ka white goes to CA green/black = signal 0-5volts

get a proper maf or reflush ur ecu for ka maf(i would get n60 or z32 at this point). Just looked at vq curve and there is a slight difference between ka and ca.

Ya if it is different at all it can be a little sketchy. Air flow metering is dangerous to play with. But im sure on a stock engine it would be fine.
