will stock TT supra injectors work in a ka24de?
they are 540 cc/min at 41.2 psi of fuel pressure (~550 cc/min at 43.5 psi), and are a two-hole, side-feed, low resistance design
I’m pretty sure the KA DE uses high impedance injectors (10-14ohm)
Correct me if I’m wrong … can’t say for sure … not a KA-phile
If they do, you’d need to wire in resistors to use the low impedance Supra injectors.
-edit- checked the manual and they’re 11 ohm (ka24de)
So no, they won’t work without some help … hell, even if they were high, still needs help
There are also varrience between sidefeed injector physical size…
You have to make sure they are the same size.
Eric I have some stock KA ones you can compare with if need be.
Post this topic on www.ka-t.org/forums if anyone would know they would.
Heh, well if we’re scared of making our own fuel rails
If you didn’t buy the injectors already
3rd Gen (FD3S) RX-7 secondary injectors are SIDE FEED HIGH IMPEDANCE 850cc, I think the primaries are 550cc.
Jspec STis I believe are also side/high
LOL you’re looking for the complete opposite of what I am, so most of my information is useless.
There used to be a kick ass, every injector ever made breakdown on http://www.autospeed.com.au/
but now you have to pay to read it
