Okay guys here it is SUNDAY FEBRUARY 27th at Formula karts in Brampton http://www.formulakartways.com/ Meet time is 2:00 PM on Sunday February 27th at the Formula karts parking lot. If you need directions go to their website. I will see if we can get a group rate so the price will be less but I have to know how many of us are going. Last time we went we had a blast and I hope it will be even better this time. Just for fun, we can all even pitch in a toonie to raze a pot and the person with the fastest time wins it. After the go karting we can grab a bite to eat somewhere and maybe some drifting at my AREA 240. For those that know me or for those that came to the 2004 Final meet and cruise you know what im talking about :twisted: AREA 240 it doesn’t exist , … but it’s there! Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

hahah, it’s funny, i actualyl dide beat everyone pretty bad, but i know sasha’s times and some other dudes are a second or two better than mine.
i like formula karts better than the last place.

Is this meet for SON240sx members only? Could I bring friends if I decide to go? I’ll be partyin in toronto that weekend with my friends from the states and since the go-kart meet is at 2pm, we all would still be in Toronto. One of the guys is from Rochester and also has a 240. (zenki with s15 front end conversion) hes a 240 kinda guy
It’s looking good so far keep it coming guys! The more the better, If we get a bunch of people we should be able to get a better rate at the track and we might have a new SON kart champion that no one ever expected. And if we have enough 240’s out we will hit AREA 240 to have some real fun. Keep it coming guys! Keep it coming!
:blue: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!! I got in touch with the manager at formula kart and I was able to negotiate a better rate for us (I knew negotiating deals for a living would pay off one day :lol: ). $1.00 per lap. 20 = $20.00 tax included. The thing is that we have to have at least 20 people show up so please guys make sure you come.
Another thing is since we want to find out who is the fastest Kart driver in SON I was able to set up 10 laps with only 3 people on the track. The 3 people will be the 3 guys with the fastest time. Their laps will be paid by the 2 dollars we will all chip in. I was going to use the $2.00 as a winners pot but I think it’s better we use it to give the 3 fastest people 10 laps to see who realy is the fastest here. If there is 20 of us and we all chip in 2 dollars that will be forty dollars, thirty pays for the track and ten dollars goes to the winner!
All we need is each other participation so lets make this happen all I can do is urge everyone to show up. And if we get 30 people to show we might even get a better price. PLEASE guys make sure you come out we will have a blast! :thumleft:
Being a little on the heavyside has it’s advantages too. No unwanted drifts or fishtails and better cornering and if you want drifts you can extend them a little longer . But being light weight is better for acceleration for pulling away out of corners faster but being light weight sucks when you get hit by some big guy going full speed right into you.
I have a little proposal about that fastest driver thing.
how about… the fastest 2 guys run, and then they switch karts half way through. If it is really close the karts will make a difference, I was talking to the guys at formula kartways and the karts can have a difference of .5 seconds easilly. So you’re looking at a 32.8 or a 33.3… how many guys fit in there? I can name almost 10 off the top of my head already.
We could ask the guys in the pit which kart is fastest and take turns hot lapping on that one as well, to keep everything fair?

that is why i wont go… and as well why i wont lap my real car with a lot of people.
as well i honestly dont think many people can keep up with sasha… i tryed… and got walked everytime… and ive been going there for like… 6 years… some times more than once a month.
