Alright so a little background first. So I wake up this morning and hope online checkin’ nyspeed. Apon checkin’ nyspeed read about the new ferrari and how sick its gonna be. Then hoppin’ on my fav mohaasp server. My friend is there and is telling me about how his gf and him got in a fight and she deleted his myspace. Ha Ha. So he wants to goto the mall but his gf works at the mall so we decide to head to McKinley mall instead. As were about to make a left in to the mall entrance my friend looks in his rear view mirror to see a tan aston martin looking car with a yellow badge. First my friend says Porsche but wait, its a ferrari. So I quickly grab my camera phone and snap this pic.
The guy then pulls up on the left side of us and my friend grabs his phone and snaps these pics.
As he speeds into the mall at half throatle completely leaving us at the light. Man the exhaust sounded sick. Yeah windows open on an 18 degree day. We pursue to chase him to a parking spot, damn people need to stop obeying speed limits, we almost lost him. We come to an abrupt hault and jump out of the suv, almost dukes of hazard style. I run up to the guy, yeah some fags in a cavalier next to the ferrari were staring and drooling, and say hey man nice car. Hes like thanks. I ask him how long hes had it because it looks brand new. Turns out that he works for delphi climate control. The climate control company that works on all of the ferraris, was testing the four seater verison of the 599 that I happened to look at earlier on NYSpeed. It’s Ferrari’s car and they’re letting him have it for the winter…apparently Buffalo’s a prime spot for extreme winter weather. One hell of a winter car if I do say so myself. So i snapped these final shots of the car in the parking spot.

Upon researching Ferrari’s website, its a 612 Scaglietti. It supports 5748cc V12 producing 540 hp @ 7250 rpm. But just before researching this my friend gets a picture message from another friend who saw this fine specimen.
You guessed it a Bentley.
So the question I pose to everyone is what the hell is wrong with rich people? Why do they drive there nice cars on the salty roads of Buffalo only after the 60 degree weather?
i saw that car a month ago going down southwestern past the west herr dealers where i work. i heard a sick v12 like noise coming down the road, and the headlights looked like a TVR tuscan or somthing. with my mouth open, i just stared at it and when it went by i saw the ferrari horse on the back and my jaw dropped further. probably one of the coolest cars ive ever seen.
Word. My Aunt and Uncle live in Northern Virginia in an area where there are lots of rich people. I went and visited a few winters ago when they had a big snow storm and I saw a few 911 Turbos rolling around around on snows and stock wheels. If I were rich thats how I would roll.

Nice car, interesting that Buffalo would be considered “extreme,” when there are places in Canada and Europe with more extreme weather. Sounds fishy to me.

yea sick story…as far as pumice’s comment about weather…ur prob right, but people that dont live here always assume the worst when they hear buffalo…thats my assumption…my cousins bf from florida visited here saw an inch of snow and was in awe that no one had chains on their tires yet
if i had enough money to buy a car like that i’d rock it all winter … its all covered by warranty anyways y let it sit ? Newman should drive the lotus all year then just sell it as he did the STI and not lose that much money…and invest in your new interest…ppl like change look at the cough cough 240 cough cough…

If you owned a Ferrari wouldn’t you just go out and buy a really nice SUV for the winter? Like a Porsche cayenne, BMW X5, Land Rover, Lexus? Rich people…must be nice.
