winter tires are overated. just get a good m&s or all season and you’ll be fine. I run falken ze512’s on my summer and winter wheels. there cheap and work well in the snow.

That’s what I thought until I decided to give winter tires a try…no comparison. During the winter, my Accord has all seasons mounted and my M3 has performance V-rated winter tires (Michelin Pilot Alpins) and the M3 is A LOT better in the snow.
i tried the blizzaks a few years ago, I got alittle excited when the weather started to get nice and threw my summer wheels on only to have it snow later that week.the goodyear eagle gt+4 worked just as well as the blizzaks. the other brands could possibly be better.
Blizzaks are pretty good from what I’ve heard…they should be better than the Pilot Alpins which are V-rated - they give up a little in snow/ice performance for better dry performance.
The Accord has Dunlop Sport A2s which are more performance all-seasons…I suspect that ther GT+4s are probably better in the snow.

both me and my bro have blizzaks, i got the civic of course, i got a the package deal for 450, rims and tires and he has an is300, the snow tires made a huge difference, he didnt spin out at all after getting those on
snow tires are snow tires… i drove on p7000’s two years ago… i’m still alive.
