If the linkage is popping off take the cowling off and grease up the ball and put the linkage back on and heat it with a torch near the point of melting then dump some cold water onto it.
It’ll reform tight to the ball and be “mint”
Kinda jumped the gun on this part. Picked up a car for a winter beater. The linkage is actually good just rotted underneath. Gunna tear apart and weld it up and see how it goes. May not need any parts. Sorry guys
