How cool were those fireworks, though? That was my first time taking the boat out and I will definitely be going back next year.
Well they don’t actually need to be tied up together.
Fireworks were good, not as good as UB but seeing them from the water and getting a nice relaxed evening cruise instead of fighting all the traffic at UB made it a way better time. Next year I won’t anchor in Canalside though and just head over near where they launch from for a much better viewing angle.

Well, if anyone wants to meet up on the water, we’re going to be out Sunday and Monday, overnighting at the Sunset Bay DEC marina Sunday night. Possibly be out 'til Tuesday, but we’ll see what happens…
Had plans to go out Sunday but now the weather isn’t looking real good. Going to go out Monday or Tuesday after work now.

I’m the same about Sunday, but the forecast is bumming me out. Mon-wed look like they could be super nice. I will definitely be around Tonawanda Tues evening.
Sunday doesn’t sound that bad…According to NOAA, Partly sunny and 79, 30% chance of a shower or thunderstorm. West wind at 8 mph and becoming calm. Sounds like it could be one of those humid summer days where the 20 minute rain/thunderstorm rolls through and then the sun comes back out. Regardless, we’re going for it, already have the slip at Sunset reserved. I have to get out as much as I can since my time home is so limited. If we stay out 'til Tuesday, I’ll be hauling the boat out by early afternoon at the latest. The super-cruise at the fairgrounds is Tuesday evening and I can’t miss that!
I’m going on my friend’s boat soon…looking forward to it…
