Well i won a hood on ebay. its a AGE classics hood. its a Cobra R model with the 96 to 98 scoops in it. it actually has ford part number scoops with it. they list new at 370 plus 100 for shipping. well i got it for 265 on ebay. drove from Pittsburgh PA to Durham NC just to get it. I left at 130 am got there about 930 am. handed him the money he gave me back 40 bucks for the trip home. left about 1030 got home by 545pm. went to sleep by 6pm woke up today at 1030 am. trip total was 17 hours of driving. spent 100 in gass about 970 in miles. so to sum it up drive all that way and only pay 220 for a hood that is still in the box, dude has a kid on the way and needed the money and couldnt afford to paint the car or the hood so it was better for him to sell it. worth it yes, will i ever do it again NO. now here is a pick of the hood. give me a couple weeks and ill post the pics of it and my car with the new paint job.

it was, hood was cheaper and the shipping would of been more then the cost of gas so i saved about 140 bucks and got to see some cool as sites

yea i spent 100 on gas which is about what shipping would cost from the dealer but not from home ot home. it would of had to been freighted and not UPS

how is that a Cobra-R hood? I’m assuming this is for your fox right?
I know it looks a lot like the 95 R hood with the 96 scoops, but the Fox Cobra-R hood looked nothing like this… if its not for your fox, what the hell is it going on

the hood is based on the cobra R models of the sn95/new edge body styles. they just adapted the design for the fox bodies

I think that will make that 5.SLOW look better. If you can’t go fast I guess it is a good idea to make it look less like a 88 Ford Escort. :bigok: j/k
