Can’t go wrong with the rf1100. I have one and it rocks. Might take a look into the x12 next year.
Nice
how’s the venting? every damn helmet claims “superior, innovative blah blah blah venting” … I don’t wanna show up to class with my hair plastered with sweat haha.
I tried it on at a local shop, it fits super nice…
I absolutely freaking love my rf1000, ask Willybeen I bought it with him down in FL
+1 for rf1000
The RF1000 is cheap on clearance 250-300…but is only M2005…the RF1100 is M2010 but ~400-450…I can get a solid color RF1100 in the upper 300’s but the designs are sorta pimp haha…motorcycle rice…
Ah well, helmet can wait till springtime. I have my Autocross helmet I’m using for now…just got a joe rocket mesh textile jacket off CL for $50 and i splurged on some $100 JR gloves…I wanted padded palm but the shop didn’t have anything that padded…I guess I should squeeze the tank w my legs more? My left hand gets fatigued so fast from the weight and clutching…
get solid. graphix are ghey
ur gay
nice, I bet this is almost as fast as your old civic?
Supposedly ppl run 10s at 130 ish…i prob woudda trapped 130-135 on my last setup but i never took it to the track…so yeah prob about the same but im a pussy and havent taken the bike past 7k rpm in any gear yet haha
That’s not a bad thing, lol
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
Get yourself comfortable, that bike has lots of potential, and it’s more fun to rip on a bike after you know the limits of it from a few seasons of experience than it is to rip on it and hurt yourself.
Those are always the best deals
Yes, basically. Sit up more, use your legs. It’s not constant, but you’ll figure it out when your riding. Just use posture to be comfortable. Your hands will get use to the clutch soon enough. Might want to consider adjusting your clip-ons/bars.
You turbo it yet?
prob a liter motor on a 600
always gotta be blowing my spot up!
Nice bike! I just got one a newer 250 to start out on. I would upgrade to this after I learn for sure.
^When you go to sell that bad boy lemme know, I need a track bike.
^ haha for sure. Probably not until end of next season. A lot of the ones I’ve seen for sale are way over priced.
you really only need the clutch to start or stop.
apply pressure to the shifter, let off the gas a little. it will up shift. it takes some time to feel like you arent abusing the bike but its perfectly fine for it.
