The value of 1st generation Sciroccos has increased significantly during the past few years. They are the best driving VWs of all time, and IMO, best looking. The bodys were designed by Italdesign, and are like nothing else VW ever produced.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, yeah I work for Interworks downtown next to the arena. We have done mostly 356s since I started working there, so it was kind of a nice change of pace to work on the scirocco.
Not really. I’ve been watching them on the Vortex… You can pick up a clean stock one from Cali or the south in the range of 1G to 2G… Their has been a few track cars pop up on there with 16V swaps for as little as $3,500…
I really like this one and he’s got it listed for $4,500
