no relationship means nothing about name. technically us being friends means we have a freind relationship. and im sure as shit not taking your name.
you dont get married to join names you get married b/c you love someone who gives a shit if they sign a check with your last name or not. the only thing id worry about is if you have kids, mainly a boy that he takes teh last name to keep it going. end of story.
Like i said, Im old school. Change the fuckin last name or make her sign a pre-nup. Make it a trade off.

I changed my name, but my daughter (Jeff’s stepdaughter) has her dad’s last name. This really confused her friends when they were little. It does have advantages - teachers, principals, etc don’t link you to your kid when you complain.
before Eurodad and I got married I told him I was going to keep my last name and he said he would rather I took his last name but it didn’t matter that much to him… I ended up taking his last name for the kids sake… Don’t get so twisted about it… it could just be a test…

- There WILL be a prenuptual agreement, what’s yours is yours and what’s mine is mine.
- The kids will be raised sans religion.
