Wow - a negative Camaro review...

seeing as how i’ve owned cars from the following manufactures: chevy, dodge, subaru,vw,honda, bmw, toyota and jaguar/ford… I think I can hump what ever i want to.
I don’t hump though, I just speak from experience.

I don’t think there is anything gm could do to please the typical forum haters. My gm’s have been infinitely more reliable than my vw’s

I never said anything about reliability. I’m talking about build quality…

When I drive a new jetta i feel like it’s 20k well spent.
When I drive a new impala, i feel like i’m driving a fisher price car.

Lol at vw and build quality.

I think that’s the issue with “quality” that people have.

“Quality” to a Toyota driver is a car that only uses gas and doesn’t break
“Quality” to a VAG driver is a car that has a great look-and-feel

Domestics usually wind up in-between… not as “reliable” as the Asians, not as “high rent” as the Europeans.

Yes surrriously…

I happen to drive one all the time and the interior is definitely “busy”. It’s also not as nice as any of the other 50k+ cars I drive regularly.

it looks like something my gf would want to play with

my girlfriend enjoys playing with my cock, not some gear shifter.
You should find a new girlfriend.

bunch o’ humps

For the record, anyone who is looking to buy the Camaro should not be buying it for its interior design…

I like my VW, but its a maintenance WHORE, we are talking over $2500 in the past few months, doing maintenance myself/friends/side mechanics. And the interior is NOT top quality by any means. Steering wheel peeling apart, door handle peeling and falling apart, but I couldn’t care less, I didnt buy the car for the interior…

that all depends on pervious ownership too though, my 2002 gti was very clean inside and had 113,000 when i sold it, i did the waterpump/timing belt and replaced the coilpacks thats ab it. my new gti’s dash is like a foam/rubber thing, the entire interior feels solid and clean. imop i just think if i wanted a new comaro id want it to feel like a camaro did in 1969. clean and plain inside, and just listen to the v8… slappin the pistons around just cruzin. the mustang still works because… it still works. u can get one for dirt cheap up to pretty damn expensive and that works for everyone. but the only ppl that are going to buy a new comaro are the ones that really really love chevys/have the money to spend. it isnt going to save chevy. i drove around in like a mid 2000’s vette and it felt interior wise just simple, clean and useful. the engin sounds great and its fun. thats all a muscle car should be. leave the crazy interios and all that shit for euros. after all, muscles were always the blue-collor workers car

agreed:tup:

well put. I think the new viper ACR has an interior built with that in mind.

one of the most comfortable straight forward interiors I’ve ever sat in

Is the author related to Violator? Sure sounds like it.

Dude, you own an E36 which is arguablly one of the worst interiors for a car, ever, and hows your glove box, door cards and headline working out for you?

:tinfoilhat:

I don’t know, looks like a pontiac interior. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think the interior of an e36 m3 is pretty legit for a mid 90’s car.
My door cars are tight, headliner is like new… so suck it.

eh, gotta fix the glove box though.

my 1997 bmw interior >>>>> any <2005 gm product.

right on with the viper interior… looks driver oriented without over doin it, kinda looks like a supra interior or an old talon.
i also really liked the e36 interior… but then again im all about clean and subtle. my gti felt like a cluster fuck for a few hours till i got used to it but its really comfy, the steering wheel is perfect and the seats/dash setup is very simple when u get down to it.
