wow i just talked to a few recruiters.

Didnt like the army recruiter in beaver (assholes) i thought, salem ohio (didnt answer the phone right) didnt like em cause of that, and steubenville ohio (cool as hell), setup a meeting for wed and were gonna talk abotu what i wanna do and what not. Really stoked about this. getting all my medical records and what not this week too. :eek3: if im paying for medical records i have to be serious.

recruiter for what branch?

If you need any advice on what they are telling you be sure to let me know. I have alot of experience in recruiting.

army said they prolly wont be able to put me right in airborne out of boot or put it in my contract cause i have a previous knee surgery. i say bs cause after i get the medical clearance from my dr. i dont see why they wouldnt be able to. imma push like a mofo for it. what you think.

and spang im trying to get in the army. :blue:

thats what you tell them you never had medical problems…period!!!

If your knee is the reason they can not put you straight into a job rfom boot camp then why would your knee not be a problem afterwards. Basically what I mean is if that job says that people with bad knees can not be in airborne there is no clause that says “until the graduate boot camp”. If anything your chances of getting it would be better now as you should be able to get a waiver for your knee providing its not that bad. Im sure you would have to get a exam from a doctor and document it and the such. Thats if they even give waivers for that job. Does that make sense? If not Ill try to explain it a lil better.

It sounds to me he is telling you that to get you in the door then once your in someone else can tell you that you cant get in and he wont be around. Remember its his sole duty to RECRUIT members into the army.

Just curious, have you talked to the Marine recruiter?

 call a diff recruiter?

marinbes  i was an army brat… ive been brain washed since i was a kid to hate them.

on a side note id think about joining em for a min.

wrong… what happens when that kid that has asthma lies about it then goes off to boot camp and has an attack. Ok the first time might not be bad but the 2nd time he dies… or the kid that broke his ankle a few years ago and it healed fine… now hes in boot camp… he brakes the same ankle by simply rolling it. NOW hes sitting in a MRP Platoon waiting to go back and complete training. Once he is healed he still ahs to wait for a platoon to pick him up. He could spend a year there total… no friends, no family, no nothing… just sitting at boot camp doing shitty jobs.

Do NOT lie about past medical history. It’ll come out sooner then later.

we need to talk call me sometime…also if you tell them you had a problem and you get in…then get hurt the army will not pay…

keep your mouth shut and tell them never had any medical problems or surjury

Its ok I understand. I was thinking if you wanted to get down and dirty then you might try the Marines as well which is why I didnt say Navy or Air Force.

dude no broken bones or torn cartlidge. i had a knee scope to see if anything was wrong with my knee… nothing. but he decided to do asnip here and there to free up space. thats about it.

That couldnt be more wrong. If you lie about it, then get hurt they wont help you out. Trust me if you goto the VA seeking compensation they check everything.

You should really quit giving false information.

just curious you in the military?

I just got out actually.

13 years and counting …how many you have…ooh my dad retired with 35 from the air national guard…

va check you out completely thats too funny
