Upon finding the axle code and doing more research it looks like I had my numbers backwards. The gears are 3.27’s not 3.73’s.

Most P71’s came from the factory with 3.27 gears,only the '99-'00 CVPI’s came factory with 3.55’s.I don’t think 3.73’s were ever an option.Shame cuz from what i have read/heard,3.73’s really wake these cars up.
