wtb 00 gsr flywheel and pressure plate

Edit, Im all set guys. Thanks for the help everyone.

Tom came through with the flywheel and Frank came through big time
with the pressure plate. Thanks again guys. Hopefully i can get the gsr
back together in next next few days. 1st time doing a clutch, was a lilttle
intimidating at first but once you put your head down and start working
its not that bad. Had a friend help me drop the tranny but the rest i tore down.
Glad i did it myself, was a great experience, not to many busted knuckles either!!
Plus i got to meet a few members, Amazing build Frank, cant wait to see it
tuned and running.

You can have my old pressure plate if you want? It’s from a clutchmasters stage 5. Why not get the fly wheel resurfaced? It costs like 50 bucks.

awesome! stg5, would it be too much for the street, its my dd.
i wish i could resurface it. i already resurfaced last time around and its
gouged pretty good!

the stage 5 isnt bad at all. engages strong, but its easy to drive.

cool, thnx mk4. id love to take that off your hands underboosted.
im in troy and work in schen. let me know when you have some time to meet.

thx, chris

mike picked one up from me for you today should be all set

yup, thanks so much tom, went and grabbed it tonight
just need the pressure plate now.

sure i have one kicking around ill check tommorow

just waiting for underboosted to get back to me.
While waiting my brain starts smoking and i start second guessing using used parts!!!
hate when i do this!

Found a new comp oem plate on ebay for $75 shipped, do you guys think i should go that route?
Same vendor i just bought the stg2 disk from.

I should prob just wait and see the plate from under. If doesnt look scoured i will just use that.
Patience OWNZ me!!!

Stranger!!!

lol!
Wish the car wasn’t always broken, kept me from going to edin this spring.
11 years old as a dd, getting hard to keep up with all the maintenance.

Heard you got one of the fastest times at edin in the s2k. Congrats man, that’s effin awesome!

FTD for one event. 1:13.4

I hope to be at edinburg in sept. Gotta do work though!

Whole list of stuff that has to be done.

Both rear trailing arm bushings (compensator arm bolts are frozen, thats going to be fun!)
Rear konis are blown (lower shock bolts are frozen, more busted knuckles!)
1 tie rod boot and 1 axle boot is ripped
Also wanted to do diy entended top hats in front but the shock fork bolts are frozen!!!
on top of all that i will be blowin smoke cause i think my valve seals are toast!

Damn man. Busy times ahead.

All set guys, thanks so much.
