WTB: <$100 computer

I have a friend looking to buy an older computer to do some testing on…

I know it is pretty vague, but post up what you have

Processors/RAM specs would be a good start

Thanks!

I have an old iMac without a hard drive…

I could get specs when I’m home.

there’s a $100 dell just a couple threads down.

Ive got an old IBM, i know nothing about it as far as specs, its old and it works, My parents built it about years ago, 50 bucks it yours, comes with a monitor as well, if needed. LMK

ok well if you could get me ballpark on the specs that’d be great

I’ll do my best. I could take some pics an maybe you could help me identify some stuff (Im not all that sharp on this stuff) PM me if you would.

If the iMac is of any help, you can just have it (if you pick it up). I was going to recycle it.

no, nobody wants a mac…but seriously it’ll need to be PC components.

Id love to help ya, but i just dont know anything about the rig i have, It was very up to date when It was built about 5 years ago, so IDK if that helps, probably pent. 3 processor Maybe 512MB RAM ? Im not real sure man, but Id like to help ya out.

Depends on how old you are looking.

I have a AMD Athlon 2800+ with geforce 7600GS and 1 GB RAM 120GB HDD system fully assembled that I would sell off cheap as I’ll be moving soon.

I also have a Dual Proc. PIII-550MHz with 512MB of ram, 40GB HDD and an ATI 128 all-in-wonder capture card that I can toss together as well.

And various other odds/ends as well.

i have a laptop i’m trying to get $125 for.

Toshiba 1905-S301 P4 2.4ghz, 1gb ram, 30gb HDD, CDRW/DVD drive… needs two screws to hold in the disc drive and to install the supplied copy of XP SP3.

ill obv have my extra parts from my comp when i order the new stuff. not sure if that even helps since its just parts…but if it does, you can just have em

i have free 17inch crt monitors…
