My dad’s truck spun a rod bearing like 6 months ago, and against my advice, he just asked if I could throw in the biggest oversized bearing they made side the crank journal was so worn down. I did, and it never really fixed the problem (was still something like .020 gap,) but he drove it around for a while.
So, I need an engine, and if the price is right, maybe Jeff or someone can toss it in because I just don’t have time or the want to do it.
1996 GMC Sierra, 305 5.0L V8. No idea if 4WD AOD matters or not, but it is 4WD AOD. Willing to take a 350 if it fits without modification. Just something reliable that doesn’t need rebuilt, as this is his daily driver.
