wtb: 50 trim turbo

i know, as small port 1.8t heads suck.

I was referring to Ladukes statement

how come full-race lost that car?:lol

sure the compressor map looks good, but the surge limit sucks. 57 trims are known to surge pretty bad, ofcourse it varies from engine to engine. but 50 trim, or the t3/t4 60trim is better for overall performance.

but with todays DBB technology and billet wheel tech. why would you want a dinosaur 360* journal bearing 50trim???

but if a 50trim is what this “guy” wants then, got to CTSturbo.com and buy some rotomaster junk 50trim

and elsamdoogufh or whatever your name is, 700 is cheap for a turbo FYI.

i duno man, my car doesnt surge at all. its the unmatched wheel/housing arrangment of the 57trim t3/t4 turbo.

but cylinder head flow wont be an issue anymore.

Because maybe a dinosaur 360* journal bearing is cheap to find and will meet his power goals without having to spend a lot of money for a BB turbo

WOW

i know right…

bunch of idiots right? :Idiots :Idiots

no, just very stubborn in their beliefs.

anyhow, anyone have a 50 trim?

i was kidding around lol

and nope i dont have one

There ya go…

$700,800 now that is just a ridiculous price

thanks for the link.

If you’re ever in Massachusetts…

yeah i can get you a new Garrett 50trim for 650 with a 270* journal bearing center

or 710 for a 360* center bearing (both .48ar 4bolt exhaust housings)

and i know d00d doesnt want to spend alot, but 50trim DBB for 1150. the DBB 50trim is sized between a GT3071R and a GT3076R for reference

lol, i wouldn’t deal with you if you had a brand new gt30 for $100, but at least you finally figured out what this thread was about. i never asked for anyone’s opinion on how to choose a turbo, what turbo they thought would be best, or what the pricing was like. i just asked if anyone had a 50 trim and for some reason people felt obliged to act like douche bags. thanks

this guy gets it.

woobee woobbeee woooby woobee!

hmm add the HPC coating and shipping to that turbo and what do you know its almost $1000.

To top this entire thing off why did you post this when it seems all you want to do is argue and you seem to already know what you want.
