I am looking for a good auto transmission for a 2001 Civc HX.
Also if someone can help me with the trans type and what other cars they come out of that would be nice. From my limited knowledge on these motors, it looks like 2001-2005 civics.
I assume these CVT boxes are hard to find.

looked for one myself, they are freakin expensive! Like $800 for a tranny!

I see some bunk ass ones on Ebay from “JDM RACING!!!111!Y0” but nothing I trust to put into a customer car.
There are some on CL, but they are from older cars. If the box is the same 96-05 I will give it a shot.
can the ECU run a regular AOD box? get rid of the junk CVT fail box.
not sure on that, just know that I just recently bought an 02 civic and looked on http://car-part.com/ thinking the car needed a tranny when it didnt and shits were expensive as fuuckk.
This is a Honda & Acura Junk Yrd Only. Yes they Charge alot, but parts come with a warrenty they also pull it for you. I have bought alot of parts off them and they all work great. If he dont have it ask he might be able to find it for you.

Yeh totally will not work but krazykid will make an adapter
seem’s to be hard to find for a good price.
