Anyone have any dell 600m or or latitude d600 parts?
Specifically, the MB.
The last MB I bought on ebay only worked for a month or two.
Netbook time? 
The only reason I chime in saying “get a new one” is that I did the same thing on my Dell 5160 way back when. Three motherboards later, I said "screw this piece of junk… " and bought a new one.
I have heard similar stories about the 600m.
Things got burned out in my Dell 600m:
- Mobo
- Processor
- Memory
Luckily, all were replaced under warranty…
This happened 1 year after I bought my laptop. Luckily, I extended the warranty and then, this happened.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but, anybody got a DVD-ROM replacement for Dell 600m?
From what I have read there were a lot of MB problems with the 600m.
I did not pay for it since it needed a new MB, the IT guy from my old place was going to
pitch it.
The biggest problem I have is that it is loaded with my software.
Software that I no longer have install discs for as I have a new job
