The Terk indoor antenna works perfect down in Hamburg.
Get this
3 of us from my work got it, and we get aweseom HD signals
Nice and small too and it’s for inside.
Thanks for the correction guys, I couldn’t get anything except pbs with a terk indoor antenna in west seneca.
I’ve heard a lot of great reviews of the Silver Sensor. That’s what I was going to go with but for now the rabbit ears seem to be doing the trick.
On those couple of real windy days have any of you had issues with the signal? Obviously my antenna in my attic isn’t moving so I’m thinking it might be related to the broadcast tower actually moving in the wind.
The Silver Sensor works amazing. Bumped up signil significantly. A friend had some homemade rabbit ears that he got good signal, he bought the Silver Sensor and signal increased by 50%.
I heard radio shack has them for $29.99.
yeh, the old rabbit ears work fine. the signal goes in and out on a couple of channels every few min. but i may look into another one. thanks for all the help. i had no idea you could get free local HD with rabbit ears. ow cool is that?
basically i would just be missing out on espnhd. that to me is not worth like the extra $25/month for digital cable and hd service.
but these channels get march madness, super bowl, playoffs etc anyway. so im set.
It’s funny how so many people through away their old antenna’s and are now buying them again just for HD.
i had the antenna in…but then when i put the cable in i have to rescan the channels. anyone know if there is a way to toggle b/t the 2? or is that a tv specific question
tv specific.
post model #, someone may know.

it pretty much boils down to me having to do an autoscan everytime i switch. which sucks because it takes like 10 minutes. i havent found a way to keep both analog and digital channels for cable and the antenna availible at the same time after switching
Sometimes TVs have different inputs for the two. Go through your TVs menu. There might be a way to enable an input just for the HD antenna. Then you just hit the input button on your remote.
