Looking to buy a Hurst or Pro 5.0 T-56 6-speed shifter, preferably in excellent condition
I have a take-off from an SS that i used in my Z28 for a couple thousand miles.
I have a new pro50 for 165 and a ripper for 155
Found a few that I like on ls1tech, decently priced too
RLB – is that a stock hurst shifter?
Not to hijack this thread, but you should consider a Pro 5.0. I have one in my trans am and couldn’t be happier with it.
Yea it is a stock hurst from an SS. Honestly though, if you have some money, go with the Pro 5.0. That’s what i upgraded to. It’s so much better. But if your short on cash stock hurst is way better than that stamped steel garbage that came stock.

i got a pro 5.0 but have problems with 3rd gear if u shift to hard it sticks in gear like it went past the block, towaga had this problem too.
yeah somethings goes wrong it like pushes past and hangs up, i know when towagas did it he had to pull the whole thing apart during a cruise and mine i gotta yank back to get it in neutral

your too stock… I like my PRO 50 shifter. My friend has a BRAND new one he bought but i dont think he likes it. Maybe i can get him to part with it for you.
Thats normally means you have a bent 3/4 fork. Mine did that to till I changed the fork, to non bent one. Also didn’t notice it till I installed the better shifter, magically found a gear between 3-5, :mad: had to pull the shifter into neutral at NYI with both hand.
