WTB Stock Hurst shifter from 98-00 F body

The guy i bought my TA from installed a Pro 5.0 shifter and i hate it, wayyyy too notchy for me, i like the feel of the stock hurst much better… any F body guys with 6 speeds have their stock one kicking around a dusty shelf?

i might have one, ill have to check.

Alright thanks Bill, let me know

Way to notchy? wow…

Whatever suits your taste. The stock shifter felt like a wet noodle to me; something that belonged in an Escort or Focus, not a F-body.

I have one also, I think.

The stock shifter just glides into gear (at least i think so) the pro 5.0 i had a good taste of when i drove the car home from NYC, its very easy to go 2nd to 5th rather than to 3rd when your romping on it

I actually had that issue a LOT more with the stocker; the 5.0 I could slam through gears so hard the palms of my hands were bruised (I also have a MBA Billet knob so it’s rock solid).

But like I said, to each their own. If you like the stocker and can shift better with it, then go with it; nothing wrong with that.

Hell, at least you’re driving your car, mine’s just in the garage collecting dust as I try to get the $$ together to put it back together :frowning:

MGW shifter … the ONLY way to go

hursts didn’t come stock in everything, it was an option

I love my stock(option) Hurst. And yes the regular stock shifter is terrible.
