yes i m looking for KA24DE…currently i m running KA24de and its dying and i dont have enough money for a ca18 or r20 swap…so a non turbo KA24det is what i would prefer.
anyhow now i have found someone who is selling his ka24de (second owner)…just wondering how hard will it be to change engine? I think it wouldn’t be hard, 'cause its the same engine.

You are a bit confused on what engine you have. If you have an '89 its a SOHC KA24E, unless it has been swapped out.
Go to your engine bay and look at the valve cover. If it says 12 valve you have the KA24E. If it says 16 valve you have the 91+ motor, the DOHC KA24DE.
Figure out what engine you have first. A KA24DET is just an engine that has been fitted with an aftermarket turbo system. Thats not what you are looking for so I edited your post.
