Hey guys Im looking for a light weight flywheel for my SR20DET, preferably a used one, funds are starting to run low, unless someone can get me a good deal on a new one.
hey john, sorry i didnt get back to you yesterday.
personally if you are running low on flow just use the factory one and machine it down nicely.
flywheels are pretty expensive, almost as much as a clutch and that money would be better spent elsewhere IMHO.
$400 - $500 can go along way when you get into your install and findout you are missing small things… heck, you are going to need a few hundred dollars in silicone couplers alone for your turbo, hotpipe, mafs etc.
I just figure if I can get a used one I could probably squeeze out the money from somewhere. Plus I figure it will save me a lot of time if I do in now that Im doing my clutch since I already have the engine and trany apart.
