Looking for a LS1. Would like it to come complete with block, head, all accessories, exhaust and intake manis, all sensors, wiring harness, ECU and T56 6 speed.

What’s your budget? I know a few places…
I don’t know how much you know about these engines. But be prepared to shell out approx $1500 for a T56 and about $3000-$3500 for a complete engine set… If you are lucky they may throw in the wiring harness and computer. Some places do. Some places don’t.
the tranny alone is worth 2200-2500, i just priced one for someone a few weeks back , the cheapest i found was $2200

'cause for $400USD, even assuming a rebuild, you’re gonna be able to score one for under $1500CAD, assuming you pick it up in the US, instead of cross-boarder shipping.
cheapest one on the hotline coming outta the us is $1300 us before shipping and taxes , that is jobber cost , u may be able to find something cheaper though
Well I’ve seen a few motors on kijiji for around 2000. I was hoping to get the motor complete with the tranny for about 3500-4000 max.
So basically they exist, but you’d have to actually go to the states and find one in a junk yard/local classifieds.
Like I said, not being a dick, I just always heard they were cheap in the US, and figured depending on the situation, it would just make sense to go pick one up state-side, rather than pay $2G just 'cause we’re in Canada…

There are a few combinations for sale in the States on v8rx7forum.com. One guy is selling his engine/tranny and a bunch of other stuff you’ll need if you’re doing a swap.
If that doesn’t work out, try Cleveland Pick-A-Part. They are recommended by a lot of people. I bought a pullout from them three years ago and brought it back in a pickup. It took a day there and back. They are also sponsors on ls1tech.com.

I got my LS1 locally for $1,100cdn complete with harness and ECU. It can be done, you just have to be patient. I’ll now sell th ECU and will have got my engine for <1g.
Also, there are trannies all over the states. When I’m ready to get one I know I’ll be able to get one for less than $1500 to my door…just have to be ready.
