I am in need of some rod & main bearings from a GSR…
I didn’t realize that I’d need the old ones when I disassembled my engine… :angry2
I shipped the rod bearings out with my old pistons & rods when I sold them, and I don’t know what the frigg I did with the main bearings…
I need them to size the new ones, so who’s got some?
Used bearings aren’t usually worth a hell of a lot, so I’d be willing to pay less than a hell of a lot… ;D
You really want used bearings?.. Wont LS bearings work as well. I know the crank is interchangable if you use B16 rods… In which case wont any B series bearings work? :ponder
he only wants the used bearings to plastigauge the mains, in order to size up for the new bearings.
the block “should” be stamped, letting you know specifically which oem honda bearings to use, but this is only if nothing has changed which would require a different size bearing
Ok I understand now… Do they have to be GSR Bearings? and what condition do they have to be in? I know someone with B18B bearings they are tossing out but if they would work I’ll go trash picking outside his garage. :ninja
Using aftermarket Rods, so stamps are no longer good… Need to manually size…
