Buddy of mines has a 98 jimmy that is having engine problems. He has had it looked at numerous times and just wants to replace the motor. Looking for a replacement 4.3 vortec and someone to put it in. He will have it towed wherever, pay for the motor and give a DP for the labor. If anyone wants to do it, post or PM a price for labor and/or the motor.

if your buddy cant find anyone else to do it and gets desperate enough i might be willing to do it but definitely not cheap since it is a pain in the ass job. It would still be far less than what he’d pay a shop to do it tho. I’m pretty positive I could track down a good running motor for cheap also. Shoot me a ballpark idea of what he’s looking to spend and what’s wrong with the existing motor, I might just be able to fix it and/or take it as partial pmt for parts
