Trying to run OSX on a PC? A quick google reveals the top hits relating to booting OSX. Here’s a couple of possibly pertinent pieces of info:

A b0 error means that when you created the partition, you forgot to set it “active”.

You’ll receive this error if you have partitioned your disk using the 10.4.4 Disk Utility,
using a Windows 98 Bootdisk run
fdisk /mbr
then run fdisk & make the partition you installed OS X on active & reboot, OS X should boot now without any probs

I have no idea if that will help at all. Just regurgitating what I found.

amd + osx usually doesnt work out

ewwww, say it aint so :stuck_out_tongue:

I was waiting for someone to refer to B.O.

No, no OSX on a PC. I’m gonna see if the drives boot on this PC at work.

thats… most of a SMART error… like b08 or c04…

According to google, it’s a drive related error in regards to the no active boot partition. Most of the time the error occurs in regards to most non-Windows based OSes.

Is it using Linux, or OpenBSD?
