My cousin got into a accident with his F-250. The motor and trans are fine.
Needless to say. I now have a 7.3 turbo with 5 spd trans to put in something.
Looking for an older ford 80s or older
maybe a 5.0???

To heavy for a 5.0 . There are a couple threads on the corral of the weight difference and it is just to heavy to overcome .
I don’t THINK it would fit, but try shoehorning it into a Wrangler. People drop decent sized V8s in those things all the time. I know a Chrysler 5.9 fits in one of those things with plenty of room to spare, so this might, but maybe not.

Salvage as much off of the donor truck as you can, the entire fuel system would be critical. Convert whatever it is to vegetable oil, it will be a million times more badass.

BTW - A 7.3L Makes about 230hp… and weighs about 2x what an SBC does.
^ I assumed it wasnt a good fit for any “go fast” application… why would a bike need 400 ft/lbs tq. :lol:
Its kinda like why put anything other than a 1000cc motor in a bike
