WTH: Someone to dig/drill/bore 24" holes 48" deep

I am looking for someone to dig (bore/drill) 24" diameter holes 48" deep. There will be 8 holes to dig. If they can do 36" holes too that would be great too. Please post if you know someone who can do this. Thanks!

Feel free to take these from my shed. Don’t have a heart attack doing it.

I just did 6 holes with them the other day but only to 36"

Mikes post hole service should have the diameter auger needed. I’ve used him in the past. Believe he has a website if you google. Good luck with your fence posts.

I’m sorry, I meant Bill. What they said.

Call 716-77DRILL Bill did my post holes years ago. Great job, great price.

Bill is the man for holes

Call Bill, pay for 10, and watch him be done in 15 minutes.

Thanks guys!

As it turns out, a friend who lives near by has 24" and 36" augers. Who’d a thunk? He is a busy guy though so if it doesn’t work out I will refer to this thread.

Fuck that. I did 18 or so when I did my fence. I still feel it when that auger would catch and spin the engine and the handle would smack me in the thighs. Rented the so called “One man” auger. My goony ass and my dad both held on to it and it was still a beast. Pay and be done with it. Plus you’re ancient so you might break a hip.

When are you going to fill us all in on what you’re doing out there?

Oh snap!! No rides in the green giant for you!

LOL!

This aint no hand held shit, it is a skidsteer. 36" would be hilarious by hand. I used a 12" auger years ago (when I was your age) with another guy and it threw us around like rags dolls. lol

As far as what I am doing… stay tuned. :snky:

I may give a sneak preview… maybe.

not that this woudl have worked for BED, but y’all are renting the wrong kind of 1 man auger.

Still a pain in the ass, but not as bad as those handheld ones.
