Description:
Item Description: So up for sale is a full set of HKS Damper coilovers for an s13. They were purchased a little while ago off of a contact in the states. The history of these coilovers is that they were bought brand new, used for a few thousand kilometers ( 5,000 ~ 8,000km), then sold to me because he parted out his whole car to upgrade vehicles. Upon recieving them i have had them looked at by a suspension shop, myself and others and the grand conclusion by ALL is that they are perfectly fine, there is NO oil leaking anywhere, the rubber dust boots are still on underneath the spring to keep dust out, the adjustment knob still turns and clicks each turn solid and true (Basically they are in MINT visual appearance, and performance condition). The front have pillow mounts that are in excellent condition. i am unsure of the exact number of adjustments, although im sure any setup you have, these will be more then accomidating. i have not used these as my car is on blocks and not driving. i believe the price is a STEAL, and the ONLY reason i am selling these is because just after i bought them, my car went up on blocks, and is undergoing a total transformation, and i would rather spend the money on engine parts as im rebuilding a sr20det ATM, and coilovers arent a presseing issue, while someone on here might enjoy some nice coilovers for cheap. I am asking 700$ + Shipping and am almost firm on that. Would consider aftermarket engine parts as a trade perhaps.

is it me or am i seeing things?

the spring for the front coils aren’t even on the perch or whatever you want to call it…

usually a sign of blownage but i could be wrong

When you lower the shock or strut to a certain point the spring won;t contact the upper mount until there is weight on them. Same thing happens on my JIC’s, if I lift my car up on a hoist at work the spring will be loose and be able to move freely. I am sure the set is fine.

That is the case. the springs are loose until there is weight on them.

cool, sorry about that then.

hks is good stuff!

s13 guys better jump on this litereally…osad

LOL!!!

It would help if you checked what shipping would be to Toronto.

Shipping would roughly be 40$
