INFO: ok this is more of a feeler, i bought this blazer with intentions of it being my daily and tow vehicle(i drag race snowmobiles. aluminum open tilt trailer and sled is around 1000 pounds towing) so it hasent been stressed by weight. the motor has a fresh rebuild with around 7-8k miles on it and about 4 oil changes since rebuild. also has brand new cap rotor wires etc that would go with a rebuild. also has all brand new balljoints and ceramic pads in the front. wheel bearings were replaced in front before i got it. reason motor was rebuilt is it developed knock shortly after having it. but has new bearings, crank, rings, all gaskets, etc etc etc. also replaced fuel pump and fuel filter when motor was done. replaced couple sensors at same time. door windows recently tinted 35% by scott’s tint. brand new neoform wipers. has billet grill and clears in front. brand new spare tire cover and has dayton timberline m/t tires with 50-75% life on them. 4wheel works great and trans shifts nicely. has remote powerlocks and remote start. power everything. has a couple sqeaks in interior panels like every other blazer. abs light is on due to broken abs wires and check engine light is on(02 sensor on driver side of y pipe.
WHAT I WANT TO TRADE FOR: simple fact, i miss driving 5 speed and i hate automatic. looking for any CLEAN 5speed 2wd s10 or manual trans bmw car. my dad has an older 325i and i absolutely love the car, but its an autotragic. i dont care about color or if its 2door or 4door. e30 or e36 is fine with me.
As for value of the blazer, the zr2 adds value to these things, and i guesstimate its probably around 4k. Keep in mind though that between rebuilding the engine, and everything else, theres about 2k of parts alone in it, with receipts to prove it. theres a little bit of rust, but it is easily fixible. i do not know the previous history of the vehicle, but i have always taken care of it and it rarely sees over 3500 rpm.(190hp 260ftlbs dosent need much rpm to get moving)
