Looking to trade my gc for your 5 spd s13, coupe or hatch.
Pic quality is pretty bad, came from camera phone…much better in person, pm to set up a time. 297xxx km, missing one hubcap, comes with plastic deflector/bra thing. Feel free to ask questions. EDIT: UVIP will be provided.
n/p…isnt it right above the exhaust? heatshield is covering it…and i kno its awd because all 4 wheels have cv boots, which i checked out when i took pics of the underbody, and from research on toronto-subaru-club.com and nasioc.com, and a subaru chart that decodes your vin number.
3500…its really clean and runs very nice. perfect swap candidate, and will hold out for a couple years, giving you some time to save. guaranteed pass on etest and possibly safety (windshield hairline crack, very very small tho)…i want to trade for an s13 with similar value, must be 5spd.
thanks :)…doesnt ur buddy own a swapped gc and in the midst of selling it? ive seen it on britannia turning awhile back…bov sounds amazing…he saw my car too :P…i wanted to buy his L with the usdm wrx swap awhile back tho.
RS models didnt come out till 98.
FWD were available in automatic and manual so it being manual doesnt mean its not fwd. the pics arnt the best to determine if its fwd or awd.
Does it have the 1.8L or the 2.2L engine?
subaru’s are expensive… I own one, but I love it… I mean engine swaps are costly… but well worth it, as I have a ver 8. Should have went ver 7… but anywhoo, who ever takes this car, put in a ver 7 with brembo’s… would take 9 grand… and would have an absolute 12 sec sleeper that you can drive in the winter
I work on Subaru’s every day.
If it is indeed a '97, then it’s a 2.2L AWD
Subaru has not made a FWD car since 1994
Since we’re talking Subys…
I have a version 4 STi 555 edition half cut with only 30,000 km. It’d be about 1/2 way between a WRX and STi in terms of performance.
$5000 for complete install at Planet Motorsport in Guelph.
