XDC, a nation wide feeder series for Formula Drift confirmed they are coming to Buffalo in July. i know a ton of people here don’t get excited about drifting, but it’s nice to have an event that I don’t have to drive 5 hours to participate in!

Round 2 – Firebird Raceway (Phoenix, Arizona) – April 14th
Round 3 – Central Florida Racing Complex (Orlando, Florida ) – May 19th/20th
Round 4 – Summit Point (West Virginia) – June 16th Round 5 – Dunn Raceway (Buffalo, New York) – July 21st
Round 6 – DMCC in USA Vs. Canada (Montreal, Canada) – September 2nd/3rd
Round 7 – Texas Motor Speedway (Dallas, Texas) – September 22nd
They wanted $65 per car at the height of when shows like this were “cool.” … But I wasn’t too upset about not going because they never honored our cross-promotional efforts. I remember we had a NOPI banner on NYSpeed and they shipped me 1,000 fliers but never put our stuff on their website or fliers. Garbage.
And then there was the attempt at Lake Erie Speedway in 2008 for NOPI which was ok for drifting but no one showed up (from what I remember) at the “show” portion… watch the next video and this is all you need to know:
So how much different is NOPI from HIN?
XDC is something I wouldn’t mind associating with but with HIN tagged on as well, especially in this area… what do you guys think?
Yeah finally having a legit series here locally is great. But our involvement is going to depend on a number of factors, one being if we’re dealing with XDC or HIN.

No, I don’t have anything prepped. I haven’t really driven since 2009 so I’m definitely not driving someone else’s car if the M3 is not ready. Working on it every day, the list is getting shorter but it’s going to be tight.
