Race City and Beyond.ca will be holding drift events starting every friday starting April 15th - October 1st. (Weather Permitting)
Gates open at 6:30 p.m., tech starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 10:30 p.m. Secret Street racing begins at 9:00 p.m. and can run as late as 1:00 a.m., depending on the number of participants and level of interest.
Concessions are open throughout the event. Costs are $25.00 for car and driver. Spectators are welcome to observe for $5.00 each.
Well Bud Park is apparently doing the exact same thing. I’d be tempted to make a trip to Calgary though just for comparison’s sake. If I’m still doing stuff for the Journal it would make for a good story. :E
Sorry…are you talking about drifting, or having sex with an obese chick?
(Needed to fit a pervert comment in somewhere today, everyone’s strategically eliminated my midget porn jokes. :D)
You’re more than welcome to join the rest of us at autocross - hopefully we’ll get something relatively organized going when the weather gets nicer and the roads are clean.
post this in another forum…just beacuse u cant get your pig to slide doesnt mean u have to bash … :yawinkle:
and Flavio get an LSD  or learn how to use it… :finga:
He’s got an LSD and bald tires to prove it. But seeing as how the topic starter was looking to know who’s going and who’s not, the autocross lovers who haven’t autocrossed for years can start thier own thread.

I dont have enough power or the willingness to fix shit that breaks when i screw up a drift. :finga:
Wow, look who’s bashing. But a comment like this coming from you doesn’t surprise me at all. You never have anything nice to say about me or my car. (we can save the “whether Z32s can drift” arguement for another time)
Anyway, I wasn’t bashing. But try to get where I’m coming from for a sec. There is huge demand for autorcross venues in town… the interest has shot up hugely in the last couple seasons. There are not enough venues or track time available.
If you have 70 people wanting to autocross, and 10 people who want to drift, which audience does it make more sense to cater to??
But hey if hosting a sanctioned drifting event keeps people like you from colliding with 350Zs on the street, then hey its a good thing, right. :finga:

Who was that particular comment aimed at… ?
People who haven’t been at Solo2 events for the last 5 years. I haven’t seen any of our club members at Solo2 events consistently through 99-2004. And if you have 70 people at a autocross event and 70 at a drift event doesn’t make one better than the other.
