Recently my computer had been freezing on me so I torched it and went from Vista to XP SP3. Everything works perfectly with the exception of sound. Anyone know how I can get my sound back? It says error media not found and beeps at me. This is way over my head, help!
go get the audio drivers…download, install.

right click on my computer
click manage
highlight device manager
anything with a yellow question mark needs a driver
double click anything with a question mark
go to driver tab
click install driver
let windows find it and install it for you just make sure you’ve done all the windows updates otherwise it may not find them.

what if this doesn’t work? like windows can’t find the drivers.

it is then time to google your ass off. figure out what needs drivers and then google for them. its a pain in the ass but it has to be done sometimes. make sure you have at least 3-4 hours of free time.
