Hey Brian, my buddy is building a LS1 RX7 and is lookin’ for a LS1/T56 combo. He’d prefer '01+ so he doesn’t have to use EGR (it’s gonna be fully smog legal here in Cali) but depending on the deal would take a '97-'00. Thanks bro.

i want pics of this project while he is buiding it
His words:
Well, Sunday I finally got to work on the swap.
Got 2 things done: replaced the diff brace and got a Willwood master installed for the clutch.
Getting the diff brace off was one of the worst jobs I have ever had to do on a car. The motherfarker took 2 hours to get 6 bolts off. I could not hit it with air as there is not enough room, couldnt get a breaker bar on them. Ended up double box wrenching it to get enough torque to get them off. Then one of the bolts was corroded and would not come loose until we used a 18" prybar :bang: Took me less than half an hour to get the new mount on place and torqued. As you can see the new is poly and the old is liquid filled rubber, and the new really goes to eliminate wheel hop.
Here’s the diff in the car:
It has 3.90s in it, along with the smaller tires = :burn: :burn: :burn: Noone makes higher gears, unfortunately, so Ill be shifting into 5th at the end of the track if I want to run 120mph traps
I also got my Willwood master installed. The stock mounting hole had to be bored out with an air drill, then the thing fit right in. Unfortunately, the master is mounted at 45 degrees, so I have to run a remote tank where you see the computer in the bottom of the pic.
My mounting equipment should be here this week, so I should be really diving into it this weekend.
His goal:
Accept his will have all the AIR (and EGR if he goes pre-'01) stuff and stock manis so he can get it fully Cali. registered.
