if I have the cash to get a car, it will prolly be a C5. If not, then probably gonna get a bike. Just depends on how the pools turn out this year. We’re already looking at doing double what we did last year, so we’ll just keep those fingers crossed.
Shit, C5s are dirt cheap these days. You should be able to get into a nice FRC in the high teens to low 20s and a '02ish (skip '01s unless you REALLY want white) Z06 in the low to mid 20s.

its an 07’ z06 katech cam springs retainers, kooks headers with cats, corsa exhaust and h pipe, and haltech intake with a tune. made 560whp first few pulls then after it was pretty hot it was making about 550whp. whitey is a pussy i told him to hit over 200mph on video and he only went 160. weak. good times though. btw gm paint sucks! so who cares about rock chips it makes the orange peal look better! 07’s go for about 60ish when i got mine.
i just signed up to do something like this… it’s not a lose situation at all.

um vettes are fiberglass and other materials that dont rust. vettes for the win in the winter (blizzaks for the mutha f’in win) if i could trust my grand am in the snow and long drives i would get a vette
Unless you’re getting a C6Z you still have a steel frame. And any of them have lots of steel fasteners. I wouldn’t drive mine on salted roads.

Pat,i thought LSX’s motors sucked??
i dont think i ever said they suck (but i may have) however, they suck to listen to on a dyno all day that echo’s a whole shop though (old hybrid). the STOCK Ls7 is ten times better in the vette than my older LS2 was stock in my cts-v. though the ultimate head is a hemi the lsx is a fantastic motor esp for drivability. im not done with the car yet a few more mods (heads) itll be good. its a great car to go out and hammer on, bring home and hammer on again! i let everyone drive this car , because these motors are awsome and hold up to sooo much abuse as long as its a mildly modified motor. (just like an sr20) every motor has its limits and the lsx’s are awsome. i dont like swaps of these motors into jap cars though, i feel that jap cars should have jap motors and american cars should have american motors.(that’s just how i feel). the lsx would rock in many jap cars i just don’t like it. if i buy another sports car for PERFORMANCE i will buy another vette after the experience i am having with this awesome machine.
