Just to clear it up a little more both the firebird and camaro were released in 1967, but the Transam wasn’t released till 1969. Look at the 25 anniv camaro it was a 3rd gen and the 25th anniv TA was a 4th gen. Same thing for the 30th anniv the camaro was a LT1 and the TA was a LS1(and was the sickest TA ever made).
Anyways to get back on topic…sell that damn Neon and get a 98+ LS1 6 speed!!!(autos are boring)

if you want to drag race it more, can’t beat an Automatic. If you just want all around fun driving etc, and auto crossing, go Manual.

Thats true if you really care about what times you run and how consistant they are. In my eyes manual dominates both drag racing and autocross when it comes to having more fun. I know I would rather benot as consistant and run a little slower times in a manual b/c the main reason I race is for fun and not to brag about how fast of a slip I have. Just my $.02
