Z32 front & rear brake, 5 lug and rims

This skyline spindle is going to bolt onto an s13 shock and all you need to do is inlarge two holes?? Time to call JDM-P and get your money back.

Heh, on R32s the lower shock mount doesn’t even connect to the spindle, it connects to a third link. I’m not sure what that 3rd hole above the caliper mounting holes is for… I think it’s either for the antiroll bar endlink or to connect the spindle to the third link.

Afaik, someone has already installed the same kit I have on a 240SX without any problems. Anyways, since I don’t know the specifics, I asked Bruce to clarify, and he’ll most likely do so when he gets my pm.

i have done my research i have 5 lug on my car…

Solarian…now that i’ve seen pics of what you have. The rear 5-bolt hubs will work if you press in 240sx bearing I believe. The fronts, I see no way of using those easily.

I think some SON members should stop trashing this thread and help out. Unless their is some way of using these me and others don’t see I’d hope to hell you get refunded in full or partial refund for having wrong front 5 lug parts.

Andrew.

The hubs are still good, there’s just no use for the front spindles I don’t believe.

You’d have to take out the R32 hubs and if possible use them with an S14 spindle. I think you reuse your s13 bearings - not 100% on that.

In that case I’m withdrawing the whole kit for sale, and a moderator should move this to either car chat or technical so we can figure out wtf is going on here.

Hey guys.

Ok yes the set of front spindles solarian has are the wrong ones and won’t bolt up. We’ve found out the set of front spindles solarian got mixed up. At the store we have sooooooo many 5 lug parts that when he picked his kit there obviously was a mistake and some R32 parts mixed in.

Anyway I’ve already PM’d Solarian with a solution to the problem and NO it won’t cost him a cent.

Phil and I do our best to make things work out and this is just a little mistake (not intentional) that can easily be fixed with no harm done. We know R32 front spindles don’t fit s13’s and as such are NOT importing those. We only offer S14 and 15 kits that will bolt up and with the kits we have now anyone is welcome to come and see that the front shock holes WILL LINE UP and as such, the kit will bolt up.

We’re sorry for this but it happens and no worries, it’ll all be taken care of.

Take care.

Easy 8)

Okay, I got a reply from Bruce, he said that there was a lot of different parts in the shop and I was given the wrong one, they’ll exchange the front hubs for the correct ones that WILL bolt on. Despite how so many ppl seem to have beef with JDM-P, so far they’ve treated me excellently and adressed all my concerns within 24hrs. The set is NOT for sale atm, until I exchange the hubs for the correct ones, and after that if anyone wants it for exactly $2100 they can pm me, if not I’ll put it on my car and have really nice brakes this summer.
I do really appreciate how the people of this forum saved me the trouble of attempting to install something that doesn’t fit or even worse, selling it to someone else that wouldn’t know what happened and would be really pissed at me. Despite the arguments and e-thuggery that is a staple of this forum, at the end of the day, SON looks out for their own, and I’m happy to be a part of this site. I also really appreciate how well JDM-P dealt with this, and would definitely give them a good feedback. I’m not pissed about the mistake with the hubs, b/c mistakes always happen, but what makes a good seller is how quickly and easily they offered me a solution that isn’t going to cost me any extra money :thumright:

e-thuggery and arguments are the staples of this forum eh?

thats not very nice

^You disagree?

Good man Bruce! There you go Solarian, problem solved

Andrew.
