Are the z32tt and the z32n/a mafs the same? Is a BOV required on a turbo car, or does the wastegate do the same thing?
I dont believe they are the same. A BOV is not needed but reccomended if you want your turbo to last. It stops compressor surge, where as the wastegate opens when you get too much boost. Clear and accurate?

No, but I can sell you that can. 
all z32 maf are the same, TT and N/A. bov is not required. wastegate controls boost, different function than bov.

I concur, bov and wastegate have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
doesn’t a BOV save your turbo from the back pressure making the turbo spin the opposite way??
