This thing sounded awesome the one time you passed me at like 7800rpm or whatever you had it at
i didn’t do shit. whoever built the autocraptic decided the output shaft nut didn’t need to be torqued. so it came loose allowing the output shaft gear to grind through the rear cover of the transmission. causing a loss of all gears (no output gear means nothing to wheels, duh). Then i got it all in and whatnot and it didn’t want to spin, was binding. Friggen torque converter jumped off a wee bit, so the tranny had to come back out to seat it fully (it’s not like a rwd car there’s no room to just pop it back push it on and go). But it’s back in now and i saw the wheels turn under their own power. Could not drive it because autoblown gave me the wrong brake pads. All in all a productive night. Oh yeah and some work got done on the neon also. 
BTW thats a one piece rear cover…
Cool project, it’s always good to see cars getting cleaned up! When painting, any plans to pull windows or window moldings to eliminate tape lines???
yeah all moldings,handles etc are out.
only seals staying in are front and back window…
tape lines usally only happen on how you tape,paint.
im so anal at taping i spend about 5 hrs on final paint taping…
sooo when will this and pats project be done?

Mine is home now. Made it here under it’s own power. has some whine on decel but i don’t care. Neon is getting there. Lots of sanding to be done.
More Updates. Door handles are out of the vehicle, and hood has been primed, to check for final straightness. Found a few more dings to straighten out. Better fix them now, before its painted!!

Car is a nightmare. no rust. its wavey like the ocean. over 100 dents/dings/waves 1000 small chips & that smashed/mangled rocker that pulled the whole door support down & up. :lol: one of the most pain in the ass complete paint jobs ive ever done. :x
Justin… i know you were not expecting this, but… your car won’t be done in 2 months.
It will be done and painted ready for delivery in… ohhh umm. in 2 weeks. about 120 hrs worth of work yet need to get it out to finish my formula motor… So be ready to come get it on " Feb 5th…".
