i kept the full crash bar on my GTi, alot of people remove/or trim the middle out entirely and leave 6-8inch sections where it mounts up to the chassis leg… no thanks.
the owner keeps ALL the parts he removes and they are included in the sale. So I suppose the next owner could put it back on if they wanted to.
Pete, I was trying to ask moer or less is it possible to still get it to pass AKA is it easy to switch the CEL light off on these cars/ecus
And reaction that was more or less what i was implying, obviouslty i know its not legal… but wasnt sure of the flexability on these cars and the capabilites of the ECU to turn off CEL and spoof certain thigns…
