I’m thinking about selling my tarmac black 2004 Evo Viii. 80k miles, clean title, no accidents and lots of new parts. It was tuned at Innovative, made 360whp/360wtq at 27 psi on their Mustang dyno. With bigger injectors it’ll make quite a bit more power, FIC1100’s would push it to around 400. No turbo play, no phantom knock or any bs. BF Goodrich GForce tires have about half life left. 60k mile service was done by the guys at Innovative tuning at 61k miles using all oem parts except the thermostat, that’s Mishimoto, they run cooler. I have a stack of recipts for almost everything that’s done to the car.

I do want to add that the car is on an Exedy stage 1 clutch with about 35k miles on it. It doesn’t slip AT ALL, grabs perfectly fine but when it’s hot, at full boost and wide open throttle it does lock out occasionally. I’ve only ran 27psi one time, it was down the drag strip and I got locked out of 3rd, then the next pass I was locked out of 5th. I flushed the tranny fluid, there were no fragments or shavings, I put new Amsoil severe gear in and I’ve driven it about 5k miles since then without an issue. Normal use is 21psi and street driven, it’s only seen a handful of passes and shifts flawlessly. If there was an issue, I’d have the warranty cover it. I’d recommend throwing a Competition stage 2 street/strip clutch in if you’re planning on doing full boost wide open throttle passes often. For $16k I’ll put a new Competition stage 2 street/strip clutch in (Lucas choice) have the swaybar installed and have warranty go through the trans for the hell of it.

I can text or email more pictures at your request. Most of the aftermarket parts have 5k miles or less on them. There are the usual rock chips on the front bumper and hood along with slight surface rust around the base of the spoiler but nothing serious or really noticeable. Driver seat bolster has the usual small wear rip as well. I know I’m forgetting some parts, email me with any questions I’ll be happy to answer them. My price of $16k the only reason I’m considering selling is to buy a fully built Evo 9 or a newer 600 or 1000cc sportbike. At this price it should sell fast so plz don’t bother with a $14,000 offer.
I can put the stock air vent back in if preferred. I do have some stock parts as well. I bought the car from Atlanta GA.
Another thing worth mentioning is it has a transferable Route 66 warranty with 3-4 years left. Everything but the clutch and glass is covered.
