I’ve been increasingly getting the desire to buy a moped that does like 60mph and just cruise on it to work and such.

yep. Get on a Honda rebel that they let you rip around on… you will see (if you have never been on a manual transmission 2 wheeler) its alot harder than you think.
those mopeds are just chincy machines all around. They are for fucking around on the boardwalks, vacation beach cities and car show parking lots… they dont belong on the the streets with real traffic.
im not sure if you have much experience on two wheels, but if you cant get in the hudson valley thing the motorcycle road test is really easy anyway.

I’ve never ridden a bike (motorcycle) of any kind. I’ve ridden a scooter/moped for a quick lap around a parking lot and that was it.
